Together for Denefield – building a legacy for our students
We are inviting our school community to come together to create something lasting — a legacy that reflects our students’ ambition and pride in Denefield.
Our Vision
We aim to be the very best school possible so that all students are able to lead rich, happy and purposeful lives. With your support, we can go further — ensuring today’s students, and generations to come, benefit from the best school experience.
Denefield 50 – the £50,000 challenge
On 1 September 2026 Denefield will celebrate 50 years of providing excellent education. To mark this milestone, we are launching the Denefield 50 Appeal, aiming to raise £50,000 by the end of 2026.
All funds raised by parents and carers will pay for the important extras and improvements to give our students the opportunities and facilities they deserve. All funds raised by students will be split equally between the school’s nominated charity — Launchpad — and school improvement projects.
Why do we need to fundraise?
Central Government provides funding for our core purpose of educating students in West Reading. This covers our everyday operating costs. Unfortunately, it does not stretch to the important extras and improvements that students want – more outdoor seating and covered areas, refurbishment of our sporting facilities and further investment in our extra-curricular clubs and activities. Your support can bridge that gap.
How can parents/carers contribute?
We know that family circumstances differ. One-off donations are always welcome, while regular payments help us plan ahead and leave a lasting impact on our school and our students. We value every donation. Even a small contribution of just a few pounds a month can make a real difference. Please donate at a level that feels right for you by clicking the button below.
Turn your £100 donation into £125 for Denefield
The School takes full advantage of HMRC’s Gift Aid scheme to enhance the value of donations from parents/carers. By donating through our CAF Donate page, we are able to gain an additional 25% from donors who are UK taxpayers at no additional cost to you. So please remember to tick the ‘Gift Aid’ box when you make your donation.
