Pride of Denefield - KS3 Awards Evening

On Thursday 22 February, students and their parents/carers were invited to the Key Stage 3 Pride of Denefield Awards Evening 2024.

A student from each year group was selected by teaching staff from each faculty to win an Excellence in Subject Award. They were based on consistently demonstrating continued effort and determination in subject or a high level of academic attainment.

As well as Excellence in Subject, staff presented CHARACTER Awards per House team, a CHARACTER award for excellence in extra-curricular activity and the Denefield Award for Acts of Kindness.

The staff presenting the awards combined feedback from their teaching colleagues, support staff and their own experiences to shape a personal and heart-warming overview of why each and every student won their award.

‘It made me feel proud to be a Denefield parent, and the values that were talked about. Thank you for the positive reinforcement that the Pride of Denefield event gave to all the young people recognised’.
