Year 11 GCSE and BTEC results 2025
Congratulations to all Denefield’s Year 11 students on their excellent GCSE and Level 2 BTEC results. The students worked incredibly hard to prepare well for these qualifications and we are very proud of their results.
Denefield’s GCSE results continue to be very strong. The majority of students gained at least a grade 5 in both English and Maths (considered to be a ‘strong pass’ – equivalent to grade B). In several subjects (including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French and Philosophy and Ethics) more than half of the students gained the very top grades 7-9 (equivalent to A and A*).
GCSE results headlines:
Over a quarter of entries were awarded the highest grades (9-7), well over half of entries were awarded 9-5 and over three quarters of entries were awarded 9-4.

- B Thompson: 5 grade 9, 4 grade 8, 1 grade 7
- M Dezon Torres: 4 grade 9, 4 grade 8 and 2 grade 7
- TJ Parmar Sheppard: 4 grade 9, 1 distinction*, 4 grade 7 and 1 grade 6
- N Magee: 3 grade 9, 5 grade 8 and 2 grade 7
- G Franks: 2 grade 9, 5 grade 8 and 3 grade 7
- M Denning: 1 grade 9 and 9 grade 8
- L Dieguez: 1 grade 9, 6 grade 8, 1 grade 7 and 1 grade 6
- M Schoen: 1 grade 9, 7 grade 8, 1 grade 7 and 1 grade 6
These results mean our students are able to pursue exciting opportunities at the next level – with the majority remaining to study A Levels and BTECs at Denefield’s excellent Sixth Form with others going on to apprenticeships or training. We wish all of our fantastic students the very best.
