"We are delighted with this year's results and immensely proud of our students. These outcomes reflect not only their hard work and determination, but also the support of their families and the dedication of our staff. We congratulate every student on their achievements and look forward to seeing them thrive in the exciting opportunities that lie ahead, whether this is a university degree or top-class apprenticeship.
Mr Towill, Headteacher
Denefield School is extremely proud of all our Year 13 students for their excellent A Level and BTEC results this year. Our students have worked incredibly hard since the start of Year 12, demonstrating resilience, determination and commitment throughout their studies. Their achievements are richly deserved, and we congratulate every student for their success.
Particular congratulations go to the following top achievers this year:
- Joseph Harrison (A*A*A*B) will read Economics and Econometrics at the University of Bristol
- Michael Lavelle (A*A*AA) will read Law at the University of Oxford
- Timothy Elphick (A*A*A) will read Computer Science at the University of Bristol
- Phoebe Hudson (A*AAA) will undertake an apprenticeship at Deloitte
- Elisha Canolle-Forkin (A*AAB) will read Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Bristol
- Lily Alexander (AAAD) will read Applied Psychology (Clinical) at the University of Exeter
- Sophie Sim (AAA) will read Biomedical Science at the University of Warwick
- Caitlin Thom (Distinction* Distinction* B) will read Criminology and Sociology at Oxford Brookes University
- Siri Bowerman (A*AC) will read Politics and International Relations at Cardiff University

These excellent results have opened a wide range of exciting opportunities for our students. Once again the vast majority of Denefield students have secured admission to their first-choice institution, including students taking up places at Oxford University to read Law and at Russell Group universities to read subjects including Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Geography and Politics. In addition, a significant number of students have secured highly competitive apprenticeships with organisations including accountancy firm PWC and engineering firm AWE, many of which combine on-the-job training with studying for a degree.
