Culture Day

Our Culture Day, a day of colour, energy, pride and understanding.
The day began with students and staff arriving for a day at school 'dressed to express'. There was a special menu provided by the canteen at lunchtime, followed by a fantastic fashion show at tutor time, which was transmitted to the whole school.
The afternoon event began with colour, energy and pride as students prepared their stalls with the help of their families and friends. Flags, crafts and displays filled the canteen, each one telling a story of heritage and tradition.
The afternoon came alive with flavour and fun. Families, friends and staff explored the stalls, enjoying traditional dishes from across the globe, games and activities. The students proudly explained their cultures and welcomed everyone to take part.
We ended the day with smiles all around. From food and displays to music and fashion, Culture Day captured the richness of our school community. It was more than an event, it was a celebration of identity, belonging and pride.
A heartfelt thank you to every student, family and member and staff who contributed or attended. You all turned Culture Day into a true reflection of Denefield - inclusive, diverse, welcoming and full of life.
As we head towards our 50th year, we are hoping to make Culture Day a tradition that brings us together every year.
