Celebrating 50 Years of Denefield

1976-2026

In 2026, Denefield School will proudly celebrate 50 years of learning, growth and excellence. For five decades, our students and staff have shaped a school built on strong character values and a belief in success for life.

To help us mark this special occasion, we want to hear from those who have been part of Denefield’s journey. Whether you or someone you know is a former student, a long-serving member of staff, or a parent with stories to share, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for memories, photos, videos, stories, achievements etc.

Denefield Events

Year 11 Leavers' Breakfast

On Friday 20 June, our Year 11 students returned to school for the Leavers' Breakfast celebration. With a warm welcome of banners, balloons and blue skies, students had their school shirts signed by their friends and Denefield staff. The House team created Year 7 vs Year 11 school photos for the group to look back on and chat about whilst signing shirts.

After collecting prom tickets and enjoying a celebration breakfast, the students were presented with different awards during the farewell assembly. Moreover, the most anticipated part of the morning was to see Denefield Staff featured in the leaving video, which was directed by Mr J Neale.

Year 11 Prom

On Tuesday 24 June, our Year 11 students marked the end of an important chapter with a spectacular Prom at Trunkwell House.

The evening was full of unforgettable moments, from glamorous outfits to grand arrivals, including everything from boats and sports cars to even a student arriving on horseback!

Students danced the night away, enjoyed delicious food, and captured countless memories with friends and teachers. One of the highlights of the evening was the ice cream van, which quickly became the most popular spot of the night, offering a sweet treat and plenty of smiles.
