Denefield events

District athletics at Thames Valley Athletics Centre

On Friday 9 May, over 60 Denefield students took part in District Athletics at Thames Valley Athletics Centre.

Students from Years 8, 9 and 10 competed in a variety of events, including sprints, long-distance races, javelin, high jump and long jump.

Congratulations to every single participant; we are so proud of you! A special shout-out goes to our medal-winning athletes.

More information will be shared in the end-of-term newsletter.

Year 5 Information Evening

Over the past two weeks, we were delighted to welcome Year 5 pupils and their families to our Information Evenings. These events provided a great opportunity for visitors to hear from our students and staff, all the while learning more about life at Denefield.

We hope all who attended gained a clear sense of what makes Denefield such a supportive and ambitious school community. Thank you for coming along and taking the time to explore what we have to offer; we look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

Look out for further information on how to book a Year 5 tour on Monday 19 May.

Headteacher's Open House

We would like to invite all parents/carers to the 'Headteacher's Open House'; a chance to come together, share ideas, and strengthen our school community. This event has been organised to enhance the importance of parental partnership.

This term, we will also be talking about different ways in which we can celebrate Denefield’s 50 Year anniversary and would love to hear your ideas.

For any other concerns, their tutor should be your first point of contact. If further support is needed, the Head of Faculty (for subject concerns) or Head of House (for pastoral matters) will be happy to help. Click the button below for staff contact details.
