Week commencing 16 September at The Wellbeing Hub:

Denefield supports the mental health of young people with The Wellbeing Hub. Teachers and parents/carers from Denefield are now empowered to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people through an innovative online platform provided by The Wellbeing Hub. With mental health becoming an increasingly critical concern, recent statistics from The Wellbeing Hub highlight that 89% of parents/carers believe all teachers should be equipped with the skills to support the emotional wellbeing of young people. By collaborating with The Wellbeing Hub, we aim to equip all our staff and parents/carers with the knowledge, understanding, and strategies to support our pupils effectively. The Wellbeing Hub has seen increased demand from parents/carers and schools for guidance and training to understand and address the social and emotional needs of young people. The Wellbeing Hub, is currently making a positive impact on more than 160,000 pupils in over 220 schools across the UK.

Upcoming Events

We have an exciting lineup of webinar and staff training sessions this term, including sessions specifically designed to help staff and parents/carers engage more effectively with The Wellbeing Hub.

Menstrual Health and

Period Education Advocates

September 2024

Dear Parents/Carers

All Yours Period Boxes

We are pleased to be able to support families once again as we start a new academic year. We know that back to school can be expensive and with Christmas looming on the horizon, finances can feel squeezed. We don’t want any parents or young people to have to miss out on period products as a result. We are here to provide with whatever people need to comfortably and safely manage their periods.

You can visit our website to request the period products you need. We have a range of disposable products as well as reusable period pads and menstrual cups to choose from. If you would like to request products for multiple people in your household, just use the comments box to tell us how many people and the kind of products you would like.

All requests are free and confidential.

You can request your All Yours box here: https://www.allyoursbox.co.uk/request

All our boxes are prepared by volunteers and most boxes are delivered by volunteers. Where we are not able to hand-deliver a box, we use 2nd class Royal Mail to send our boxes. We ask that you allow at least 21 days for delivery, but we do aim to drop off boxes far quicker than this.

Supporting periods in young people

We know it can be a bit daunting when your young person starts their period for the first time. You may be a dad who is unsure how best to provide products, comfort and support or may be a mum who never received much period education in school. We are happy to answer any questions about period products, provide supplies or answer general queries about periods to help support your children as they get used to their menstrual cycle and periods. You are welcome to email allyours@allyoursbox.co.uk for free and confidential advice.

With best wishes

All Yours
