Denefield Race for Life:

On Wednesday 17 July, the whole school will be running the Race for Life on Denefield grounds.

This is the seventh year we have run this event and we have raised a whopping £40,000 for Cancer Research over this period. 

Thank you for your donations so far, our target is £5,00 - let's do this!

Week commencing 8 July on The Wellbeing Hub:

If your child is struggling to access in-person therapy or just needs expert help with their mental health, especially over the summer, please consider whether they might find it easier to speak online. 

Tellmi Therapy is a text based service delivered via the Tellmi app, provided by specialist trained therapists. It has been commissioned by the NHS in our area and available for free for ages 11 to 18.

Tellmi Therapy follows a Solution-Focused approach which is proven to be safe and effective. You can find out more on their Tellmi Therapy FAQs page and make a direct referral here.

3 day work experience event for 15-17 year olds in the summer holidays at Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre:

The National Saturday Club:

Young people across the country are spending Saturday mornings at their local university, college or museum discovering subjects they love. Saturday Clubs are open to 13–16-year-olds of all abilities and are free to attend.

Joining the National Saturday Club is a unique opportunity to learn new skills, discover talents, meet new people, and find out more about further education, higher education and rewarding careers.

Come along and join us for a fantastic Community Event showcasing young musicians and performers

Calling all musicians and performers, if you’d like to perform at this event, please sign up here Performer Sign Up  by Monday 1 July.

ASC Reading are offering free watersports sessions this August as part of West Berkshire Council's HAF provision.

Sessions are suitable for children aged seven and above and every session includes lunch. Children will have the opportunity to try a variety of watersports activities including sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, and kayaking. They will also be able to interact with other children in the local community and forge connections with peers from other schools.
