Free School Meals Voucher Scheme
Parents/Carers that responded to our communication about free school meals and Tesco vouchers will have received an e-voucher from Tesco covering the period 23 March to 3 April 2020. Since then, the Department for Education has launched a National Voucher Scheme in conjunction with Edenred UK for parents/carers eligible for free school meals. Denefield School will be switching to this national scheme from now on. The scheme provides access to a wider selection of supermarkets than just Tesco, and the amount available is £15 per week. Further details for parents and carers can be found at Parent and Carer FAQs .
We will be placing an order for e-codes to be emailed to you directly for the Easter holiday period (6 April to 19 April), and then fortnightly from then on. Due to high demand, Edenred UK are currently upgrading the portal. We will place the order as soon as the portal becomes available. Edenred will email the e-codes to you directly within a few days of the order being placed. Guidance on how to redeem these codes is given in the Parent and Carer FAQs.
Please only contact the office if you have not received your e-code by Monday 20 April as we will not be able to chase this up prior to this date.

As someone else is preparing the meals for your child, it saves you having to worry about the effort and expense of making packed lunches every day.
