Attending Kids College gives children in Years 5 and 6 at local primary schools the chance to take part in a range of exciting and fun-filled activities in science, technology and the arts.
Over recent years many children have participated in Kids College, giving them a taste of secondary school life and helping them to begin the transition from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3. The courses culminate in an achievement celebration for all the family where the participants are presented with certificates. They also get to take home any items that they have made as part of the course.
Although the five-week courses are free, places are limited to a maximum of 16 students and are allocated by ballot. The courses are very popular and the places fill very quickly; we regularly have over 90 KS2 children in school on a Wednesday evening. If you are interested in securing a place for your child on the next course, the new prospectus and application form will be published on this page. Alternatively, please contact us and we will be happy to send you a copy.
The summer term prospectus will appear her during the week commencing 14 May 2018.
