There are CCF contingents in over 350 secondary schools all over the UK, offering young people a broad range of challenging, exciting, adventurous and educational activities. The aim is to enable the development of personal responsibility, leadership and self-discipline. Each CCF is an educational partnership between the school and the Ministry of Defence; our CCF, run in partnership with Pangbourne College, includes Royal Marines and Army sections.
CCF units in schools provide young people with life-changing opportunities that few other extra-curricular activities can come close to competing with. Our cadets will be able to take part in a huge range of exciting and adventurous, military-themed activities - whether that's tackling a high ropes trail, completing an army obstacle course, or learning to sail. The unit gives young people the life skills and self-confidence to take charge of their lives so they can reach their full potential at school and beyond, including in employment.
Places in the Denefield CCF are available to students in Year 10; the application process opens in the summer term of Year 9. For further details, please contact Mr Boys via firstname.lastname@example.org and see www.combinedcadetforce.org.uk.
