Maintaining regular, open communication and consultation with parents/carers is important to us and our Parents’ Forum is one way of achieving this. Our Parents’ Forum was set up in 2009 to encourage more parents to get involved in supporting their child’s education and has been running successfully ever since.
The Parents’ Forum is a platform for parents/carers to ask questions, be consulted on school policy and new initiatives and give views. Many topics have been discussed in the past and examples include: new assessment system and reporting to parents, school uniform, Headteacher recruitment, school meals and our behaviour policy.
Every parent/carer with a child at school is warmly invited to attend each meeting. School leaders and a governor will be present and any issues raised are formally considered by the Governing Body. Copies of minutes are published on the school website.

Meeting dates for this academic year are: 16 October 2018, 12 February 2019 and 21 May 2019. All meetings start at 7.00pm.
