Septemjber 2018 - Michael Jeffery Memorial Football Match
Michael Jeffery was a former member of the PE staff at Denefield School. He died in tragic circumstances in March of this year. Since leaving Denefield School he had been teaching in Southampton and, for a time, became goalkeeper for the England Beach Soccer team.
To respect his memory, colleagues, friends and former students organised a charity football match and social event at Denefield School on Friday 28 September. Please click here for photos.
July 2018 - Coaching and Player Development Programme
Coming in September is our exciting NEW Coaching and Player Development Programme! Students in Year 12 can gain a coaching qualification and potentially earn, through the Reading Soccer School. July 2016 - Denefield School Race For Life - On Friday 1 July 2016, 100 primary school children and 400 Denefield students, nursery children and staff all took part in Our Race For Life. So far, over £13,000 has been raised for a fantastic cause, which is a superb achievement. Well done to everyone! Please click here for our justgiving page.
July 2016 - Summer Fayre - Many thanks to all those who attended and/or supported our Summer Fayre on Friday 15 July. Particular thanks to our sponsors and contributors who helped us raise over £1,600 and a fun time was had by all!
July 2016 - Unified Basketball - Denefield students recently took part in a nation wide campaign aimed at encouraging disabled young people in sport, ahead of the Paralympics. As part of the unified project, they teamed up with students from Brookfields School to create two basketball teams.
