Students identified as being high attaining (HAT), gifted or talented have the opportunity to engage with activities offered by the Red Brick Club. The club aims to support our most able, gifted or talented students with aspirations of attaining a place at a top University.
Students belonging to the red brick club will receive a termly e-newsletter ‘Red Brick News’ that outlines upcoming events and gives the opportunity for our students to give feedback on previous experiences and activities run by the club.
Some of the enrichment opportunities that take place during the academic year include; trips to universities for visits and open days, the twilight talks series, the national mock trial competition, preparation of a portfolio for university applications and leadership building programmes.
If students are interested in being part of the Red Brick Club, or any of the enrichment opportunities we offer, they should speak to Mr Thomas (CTS@denefield.org.uk).
