Absence hotline
0844 2393376 - this is a new number
Denefield school operates a text, email and voicemail to home phone contact service when there is certain types of information that needs to be passed to parents or carers.
To ensure parents are able to respond quickly when we are unaware of a student's whereabouts, we have introduced a text message service, which will also send a copy message to an email address. If either of these are unavailable a recorded voice message will be sent to the home phone.
Denefield may also wish to contact parents via these methods to pass across certain types of information, such as reminders about parents evening, trips or to pass messages from teachers about achievements or detentions.
If for any reason your child is unable to attend school it is extremely important that you inform us at the earliest opportunity.
Unexplained absences account for many wasted hours of administrative and teacher time in trying to trace the whereabouts of pupils who have not arrived at school.
If you know your child / children will not be able to attend school please contact us prior to morning registration. You can do this by telephone or by e-mail, using the information on the right.
Thank you for your co-operation
