The Student Council is a group of elected students from all year groups that represent the voice of their peers. The Council wants to help the students make a difference to the school and change it for the better. The Student Council is the stepping stone between students and the school Senior Leadership team, so we are a major voice to those who want to bring about change.

“When one person expresses their own opinion, it rarely changes anything. If a thousand students each express a different point of view it is impossible to listen to them all – so nothing changes! But if all the students speak with one voice, they give a clear message that everyone listens to, so change is possible.”

The Council meet every second Thursday to work on projects that help improve the school and its community and environment. Previous agenda items have been: Recycling, litter, cleanliness of toilets and lack of benches.
